As I quickly read through this book I felt I was "taken". I was about to post a very negative review but decided to read it again. On my second reading I took the time to actually stop to study the phrases, look at and learn the importance of where and what word is emphasized as well as other valuable information. However, if you're a practicing hypnotist or hypnotherapist and you've only learned direct language patterns, this spiral-bound book can serve as an easy-to-read introduction to hypnotic language patterns. Well written with many worked examples, it is a fascinating read if you have any interest in hypnosis, hypnotherapy...or even salesmanship! It is almost disturbing to realise how much we are all influenced by the power and structure of language, but it is easy to see from this text how such indirect suggestions can produce massive behavioural changes in others whilst under hypnosis.
